EyeDa Group is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how information is handled in connection with the EyeDa Discord community. By participating in the community, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
When you participate in the EyeDa Discord community, certain information may be visible to moderators and staff, including your Discord username, messages you send in public channels, and actions taken within the server such as reactions, role selections, and event participation.
We do not independently collect or store personal data beyond what is made available through normal Discord server activity. We do not request, solicit, or retain sensitive personal information such as your real name, address, or payment details.
How We Use Information
Information visible to our staff is used solely for the purpose of moderating the community, enforcing our server rules, and improving the experience for all members. We do not use community data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
Staff may retain records of moderation actions such as warnings or bans to maintain a safe and consistent community environment. These records are kept internally and are not shared outside of the moderation team.
Community Art
Members of the EyeDa community may submit artwork to be featured on our website's Community Art page. Submission is entirely voluntary and requires your explicit consent before any artwork is published.
Artwork submitted for display is uploaded to and hosted through ImageKit, a third-party image hosting and delivery service. By consenting to have your artwork featured, you agree that the image file will be stored on ImageKit's infrastructure and served publicly via our website. ImageKit's handling of hosted content is governed by their own privacy policy.
We will only display your artwork with your permission. If you would like your artwork removed from the Community Art page at any time, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Discord & Third Parties
The EyeDa community operates on Discord. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy, which covers how Discord itself collects and processes your data. We encourage you to review it.
We may use Discord bots or integrations to provide server features. These tools operate within Discord and do not transmit your data to us outside of what is already visible through normal server activity. We do not sell or share member data with any third party.
Data Storage
We do not operate independent databases containing personal member information. Any moderation logs or server records are stored securely and accessible only to authorized staff. Members may request information about records pertaining to them by contacting us directly.
Artwork submitted to the Community Art page is stored externally via ImageKit. We do not store copies of submitted images on our own servers beyond what is managed through that service.
Your Rights
You have the right to know what information we hold about you and to request its removal where applicable. If you would like to request access to or deletion of any records we hold, please contact us at the address below. Note that some moderation records may be retained where necessary to protect the safety of the community.
If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights. Please contact us if you have questions about your rights under applicable law.
Children's Privacy
Our community is not directed at children under the age of 13. Discord itself requires users to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor is participating in our community in violation of these requirements, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued participation in the community following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
